English Announcements 3rd Quarter Due DatesBe aware that we are working on two long-term projects for 3rd quarter, so grades will not be updated as frequently since assignments will not be turned in as frequently. The following is a partial list of the due dates and test dates for the quarter. I will be updating this as we getting further along in the quarter.

-A link is provided below to the TeacherEase website. You must have a login to access this gradebook. Please email anyone on your child's team to get a login. If you had an account last year, the same login and password should work. -Please know you do NOT need to be a member of this page to access the information. -A class syllabus is available below. ![]() GradingStudents will be graded on a 5 point scale:
5=A 4=B 3=C 2=D 1=F 0=missing Some assignments, such as in-class notes or very small assignments, will be weighted as one assignment, while other assignments, such as large essays or projects, will be weighted as more than one assignment. This means that all assignments count, but missing a large essay or project will affect a student's grade more than missing a small assignment. Make up work will lose some points for being late, but students can turn in any assignment up to a week before the end of the quarter. The best way to keep a grade high is to turn in every assignment on time. The best way to raise a grade is to turn in all missing assignments. This must be done before any extra credit will be considered. English Files
